We’re inviting artists of all experience levels to help light up Tacoma’s 6th Avenue with vibrant, handcrafted Alebrijes for the Annual Día de los Muertos Celebration!
Let your creativity run wild—channel the spirit realm into dazzling, one-of-a-kind Alebrijes that will spark joy, curiosity, and celebration all month long.
Create Alebrijes in Any Style or Size
These magical paper mache creatures will be displayed at sponsoring businesses throughout the 6th Ave Business District during the entire month of October—offering artists high-profile visibility in one of Tacoma’s most walkable and arts-loving neighborhoods.
Artist Perks:
*Showcased in 6th Ave storefronts throughout October
*$50 stipend per piece (paid after delivery to participating business)
*Silent Auction presentation: Alebrijes will be featured in our silent auction with 60% paid to artist and 40% to Cienfuegos Sister Cities Organization (Alebrijes will be transferred from participating businesses to the Amor Eterno Ball by Cienfuegos Sister City Organizers).
*Featured in multiple community events with strong attendance and press.This is your chance to showcase your imagination, honor tradition, and gain meaningful exposure in a celebrated cultural festival.

*Any non-auctioned artwork will be made available for pick up following the Amor Eterno
